Our Story

The Fit Box was founded in 2014, and is the dream-come-true of owner and founder Christa Neely-Plante.  From a dark place of despair, lethargy and depression, with no direction in sight and no desire to get out of bed, she would eventually step into the ring, driven, changed, and truly inspired to meet each new day positively head-on!  
She is now an undisputed champion!   
Daily promoting a healthy lifestyle, and graciously sharing her beautiful spirit, she is continually giving her cherished clients a positive outlook.  Teaching by example and from experience, she believes that there is no limit to what you can conquer. Your aspirations are within your reach. Christa is living proof that The Fit Box can be instrumental in changing your life forever, and definitely for the better!

During her "dark days", Christa's one outlet was her music!  She would seek refuge for her hurting soul, a lone musician playing healing music in the quiet of her basement.  It was on one of those days when inadvertently she discovered a forgotten boxing bag in the corner.  With that discovery came the eventual formation, and ultimate success of The Fit Box!

Though it may sound melodramatic to some, it is entirely truthful to say that this gym is amazing, and works wonders of healing and miracles in people's lives.  It is no joke!  Christa, the vibrant and smiling "Face of The Fit Box" is far from the broken, disheartened, out-of-shape and un-inspired woman she used to be.  Out of the ashes has arisen a successful business, founded by an emerging entrepreneur!  Stay tuned... this lady is far from finished with making her dreams become reality!  There is more to come in the near future!
